If you live in, or even plan to visit, an area where Lyme disease is present, be aware of the risks to you and your pets. Be sure that you use a good tick prevention on a regular basis and consider the vaccination for Lyme disease if your pet is at high risk (use the vaccination as a 2nd line of defense).
