RECALL ALERT: Nestle Purina PetCare is voluntarily recalling one specific lot of its Purina Veterinary Diets OM Overweight Management canned cat food. Analytical testing of the product sample by FDA indicated a low level of thiamine (Vitamin B1).

More Diamond fallout: Solid Gold Health Products recalls Solid Gold WolfCub Large Breed Puppy Food and Solid Gold WolfKing Large Breed Adult Dog Food. I can’t find the info on their site, but they’ve got it posted on the Solid Gold Facebook page.

Expanded Recall of Diamond Pet Foods Dry Dog Food Dog Food Linked to Salmonella Outbreak Also Sold Under Other Brand Names (Natural Balance, Canidae, Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover’s Soul, Wellness, Kirkland to name a few). The only one I could find that was distributed to MN was Natural Balance.
